Project Lead / Solutions Consultant – Chester/North Wales border – delivery of key project implementation tasks & skills centred on solution design, documentation and implementation.

IT Project Lead required by a software and solutions company to provide assistance with successful delivery of key project implementation tasks. IT Solutions Consultant will ideally have a Project Management / Customer Care background and skills centred on solution design, documentation and implementation.

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team working on exciting projects in a stimulating environment. In return you will enjoy a salary of c £30K- £40k and benefits including a company pension scheme.

IT Project Lead – skills and experience

  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Oracle, MsSQL systems
  • Proven Customer Facing and Technical Support skills
  • Experience of customer requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Experience of Internal solution designing and documentation.
  • Specification of solution enhancements (Application, EDI, Dashboard Charting).
  • Solution enhancement testing.
  • Skilled at liaison with customer and project 3rd parties.
  • Experience of Integration testing.
  • End-to-End solution configuration and testing.
  • Technical environment set-up and testing.
  • Customer support during the implementation phase(s).
  • Application user training and documentation.
  • On-site Go-Live Support assistance.
  • Post go-live solution hand-over activities.

IT Project Lead – main responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate to provide leadership and support staff to ensure maximum performance.
  • Prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Monitor and review targets to manage, monitor and support the delivery of business outcomes making appropriate recommendations
  • Deliver training to customers and internal staff against training manuals and procedures
  • Liaise with customers, staff and colleagues to provide quality communication and care
  • Maintain and respect confidentiality in accordance with confidentiality policy, non-disclosure agreements and Data Protection Act
