Operational Resilience Specialist opportunity offering you the chance to set up and establish operational resilience in a financial services environment. Your role will be to support our client’s ongoing delivery of Operational Resilience strategy and work plans ensuring they continue to deliver and maintain resilient services for their customers as they undergo further transformational change.
Our client is based in Lancashire and operates a hybrid working environment and an attractive salary and package – to £60K and a range of benefits including a 35 hour week, healthcare, pension, free onsite parking and 25 days holiday.
Operational Resilience Specialist Key skills and experience:
- Experience of working in an Operational Resilience team with knowledge and understanding of the regulation in a Financial Services organisation
- Ability to engage and work in partnership with business stakeholders.
- Good analytical mind-set and able to interpret wide ranging information and make appropriate recommendations for Operational Resilience and Operation Risk.
- Adopts a pragmatic and balanced risk/reward approach
- Excellent understanding and extensive experience of the Financial Services sector.
- Must have strong PC and Software skills which to include Excel, Word and Power Point
- An outstanding team player with the ability to motivate and lead
- Strong written and oral communication skill gained in a financial services organisation.
- You may hold a relevant degree or professional continuity and resilience qualification (such as CBCI) or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
You’ll be working with business stakeholders, to deliver a broad and varied customer-focused work programme, building on work already underway to enhance Operational Resilience. You’ll also take ownership of the company’s Outsourcing and Third Party Management framework and ensure it is fully embedded throughout the organisation.
You’ll have an excellent understanding of Operational Resilience and other Operational Risk standards and the regulatory landscape and be able to use this to support the delivery and continued maturity of our Operational Resilience and Business Continuity processes, ensuring an approach that is aligned to regulatory expectations and our client’s needs.
