Junior Project Manager required by prominent financial services company, to be responsible for the coordination, control, execution and completion of specific business projects. Ideally having 1 – 2 years’ experience, the Junior Project Manager will join a busy team in a thriving environment and will have the chance to lead the planning and implementation of project plans, scopes and objectives.

Junior Project Manager – Skills and knowledge
- Qualification in project management and evidence of exposure to managing projects and work streams
- Exposure to project reporting including raising and management of risks, issues and mitigation plans.
- Proven planning and analytical skills
- Critical thinking, problem solving, planning, organizing and decision-making skills with the ability to delegate and manage conflict
- Strong understanding of business functions and structures, with experience of working with other teams on projects
- Excellent interpersonal and situational leadership skills with a customer centric approach

Junior Project Manager – main responsibilities
- To support Senior Management stakeholders across the business in the delivery of business projects designed to accelerate business development and growth in line with the business strategy
- To design, develop and implement project plans ensuring visibility and reassurance for required sponsors; acting as a sounding board for the business, ensuring that growth and change aspirations are managed and delivered in line with business governance frameworks
- Take the lead as Project Manager where required and work with sponsors and project teams to define and impact assess requirements, gain the appropriate approvals to proceed with projects and produce the required documentation for projects to expected quality standards
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of projects to all stakeholders, present reports defining progress, problems and solutions, address issues and make decisions and implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project output
- Work with an understanding of revenue models and P/L; meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
